About

I’m Eric, the person behind ERC Enterprises. Over the past two decades I’ve built three separate careers that all lean on the same underlying skill: understanding how systems — electrical, mechanical, or digital — actually work, and fixing them when they don’t.

8 Years

IT Administration

For the past 8 years I’ve worked as the IT Administrator for Adult & Teen Challenge Northeast, where I’m the sole IT resource for the organization — Windows and Windows Server administration, macOS devices, mobile phones and carrier plans, and internet/network connectivity all fall under me. I’m CompTIA A+ certified, and being a one-person IT department means I’ve had to be fluent in basically everything with a plug or a login screen.

7 Years

Industrial Mechanic

Before IT, I spent 7 years as an industrial mechanic at Danafilms Inc., specializing in mechanical repair and electrical systems. That job is where I actually learned electrical theory and low-voltage work hands-on, not from a textbook — and it’s a big part of why I can wire an amp rack or chase down a ground loop without blinking.

18 Years

Live Sound

Live sound is where I’ve spent the longest — 18 years and counting. I got my start DJing weddings and mixing front-of-house for a run of smaller touring and local artists, and along the way built out a serious personal rig: JBL and EAW loudspeakers, Turbosound subs, PreSonus Series III digital consoles, dbx DriveRack system processing, and a stack of QSC and Crown power amps to drive it all. I’ve used that same gear and knowledge to design and install permanent sound systems for dance studios.

If you need someone who can keep your systems running, wire something correctly, or make sure a room sounds right — that’s the work I do. Get in touch.
